I just turned 20 years old, and am living in Florida. I'm a pool cleaner waiting to get shipped off to the Navy in June.
I just turned 18 when I got hold of the demo of Xara X. With no prior digital graphics knowledge, I tackled the tutorials on this wonderful
Website. Within a week I felt ready to do something on my own. I drew a cartoon bike for my brother since then I have been hooked on Xara X.
I'm not a professional, or an artist, I am just a hobbyist I guess is what you would call me. I usually mess around in Xara X to make
someone a gift for a birthday or something. It wasn't until recently that I have actually started experimenting in Xara X, learning what all it can do, and I have to admit I'm always learning something new.
I have had many ups and downs in my life. But I have picked myself up from every down, with the help from my family and most of all my
girlfriend Kim. They have given me the motivation to go on. Kim gives me a reason to do it all, and encourages me to do my best. I wouldn't be here now without them.
I want to thank everyone at TalkGraphics for all the kind comments and encouraging critiques. I wouldn't have progressed as quickly as I
have if it wasn't for you. So thank you everyone at TalkGraphics for everything.
