1956 1955" and "1956" both refer to the style commonly employed by the advertising, propaganda and signage artists of the mid-twentieth century. Spare use of outlines and a minimal palette help define this type of rendering. The interesting part of working in this style is the necessity to pare down the elements of the drawing, because the mother of this method of illustration was the limitation of minimal production resources.
