Moshe Kidron’s 12 Column Web Page Template
The Giveaway of the Month for April is a 12 column, 960px wide (live area) web page template. Professional web developers frequently use a 12column, 960px wide grid as a guide to create clean, well organized page layouts. TalkGraphics’ own Moshe Kidron has created and donated a template that you can use in Xara Designer or in Xara Web Designer.
To make sure you always have this template on hand and ready to go, download it from here; open it in any recent version of Xara Designer or any version of Xara Web Designer and then choose File > Save Template… and save it to the folder where your applications templates are kept. Xara automatically opens the save dialog box to the proper place to save templates. Now you can create new documents that contain this grid just by choosing File > New and then picking this template from the list.
