5. Use the Shape Editor Tool set to a color line that contrasts with the original image so you can see the lines you draw. In this example it is red. The Shape Editor Tool makes it easy to drag straight line segments to shape them to match the curves of the object you are drawing. TIP: You can add transparency to the bitmap image which will make it lighter and to make it easier to see your lines.
6. For circular shapes use the Ellipse Tool with no color fill.
7. If the circular shape in the photo has gaps, select the drawn ellipse and the Arrange… Convert to Editable Shapes (Ctrl+Shift+S) command. Add extra points where you want to break the ellipse.
8. To break at a point select the point and right click to bring up the menu and select Break at Points.
