Create a line that is parallel to the diagonal angle of the sides. Duplicate the line and position the two lines as shown above in the insert. Duplicate the two lines two more times and position them to the right as shown. Select each line and the shape directly beneath it, and Arrange > Combine Shapes... Slice Shapes . The lines will go away and the sides will be sliced into two objects.
Select the left shape and apply a Linear fill using the color of the side for the starting color and the color shown in the center above for the end color. For the adjoining shape start with the center color (top of page) and end with the top side color. This creates a rounded fill effect. Angle the fill path arrows as shown in the enlargement so that the fill is parallel to the sides of the shapes. Select the left side and Copy the fill (Ctrl c) to the clipboard. Select one of the other left sides on the right and Paste Attributes (Ctrl Shift a or Edit > Paste Attributes . Do the same for the right sides.
