Clone the group and move it down until it aligns with the top group. Clone again and move this clone down. Continue until you have 8 groups of coils. Ctrl click on the top left portion of the top coil then switch to the Shape Editor Tool. Click the bottom control point and clip up and right, click and then drag straight up. Using the Shape Editor Tool, drag the diagonal line segment into a curve. Click on the control points to enable the Bezier control handles to fine tune your editing.
Extend the top of the top line and add a small circle on top. Copy one of the chrome fills and Paste Attributes to the circle. Select all the coil shapes (but not the circle) then convert the lines to shapes (Arrange > Convert Line to Shape). Then press Ctrl 1 (Or Arrange > Combine Shapes... Add Shapes) to add shapes. Reduce the size coils to 25% (enter 25 in either the H or W text entry boxes on the Infobar and press Enter to apply the change). Create a 90 x 75 pixel ellipse. Apply an 80% black fill and then using the Bevel Tool, drag any of the red arrow control points towards the center to apply an Flat , Inner bevel. Reduce the size of the beveled ellipse to 30 x 25 pixels and position the antenna and the gray beveled shape on the side of the glass.
Clone the coiled antenna shape. Reduce the height to about 60%. Using the Mould Tool, apply a Default Envelope. Drag the top 2 control points to the right and edit the control handles as shown top right. Place the enveloped shape over the coil and apply a Linear, Mix transparency.
Create an ellipse the shape of the black pupil portion of the eye. Create another ellipse to the size shown on the top right. Apply 2 Elliptical fills using the Named colors shown. (The named colors are the colors to the left of the diamond shaped web safe colors). Let the cursor rest over the colors for a few seconds and a tool tip will appear with the color name. Using the Blend Tool. click on one ellipse and drag to the other to create a blend. Change the number of Blend Steps to 200 and press Enter to apply the change. Select the blend with the Transparency Tool and apply a 60%, Flat, Mix transparency.
