Center the bitmap over and on top of the circle (press Ctrl Shift L to open the Alignment dialog). Apply a Circular, Mix transparency. Click the center transparency control point and set the Transparency slider on the Infobar to 0% (No transparency). Set the outside slider setting to 80%. Select the bitmap and the circle (drag a selection rectangle (marquee) around both using the Selector Tool (F2). From the Arrange menu, select Create Bitmap Copy... Set the Color Depth to True Color and the Resolution to 300 dpi) You can delete the other objects.
Select all of the hubcap elements (drag a selection marquee around them with the Selector Tool). Click any of the gray colors on the screen palette to change the fill. Leave all the objects selected. Open the Bitmap Gallery (F11), select the last bitmap on the list, and press Fill. Switch to the Fill Tool (F5). Select the larger of the circles and adjust the fill path arrows as shown above. Do the same thing with the smaller circle. Leave the 2 beveled circles as they are.
Select the smaller circle and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl c). One by one, select the other round chrome objects and Paste Attributes (Shift Ctrl a or Edit > Paste Attributes ) to apply the bitmap to these shapes. As you did with the wheel covers, adjust the fill path arrows for the other shapes. Leave the fill for the inside of the right wheel as it is. Ctrl click on the left end rivet (this is the way to select the end objects in a blend) and Paste Attributes. Press the Tab key to select the opposite end ellipse in the blend, and Paste Attributes to this ellipse. You will need to use the Fill Tool to modify the angles of the fills.
