If you open the XAR file from last month's tutorial, the image ROCK.jpg should appear in the Bitmap Gallery (F11). If not, you can Import the image from the Photographs 2 folder in the Clip Art Gallery (Shift F10). Select the lower rectangle you just created, then select the ROCK.jpg image in the Bitmap Gallery and press Fill. Switch to the Fill Tool (F5) and two arrows will appear. Select the square at the center of the fill and press the up or down arrow keys until only the grass covered earth appears in the rectangle as shown above.
Select the top rectangle then open the Fill Gallery (Shift F11). In the Non Repeating Color Fills folder, locate the Sky image and press Fill. Adjust the fill path arrows if necessary to get all of the fill into the rectangle. TIP: You can select one of the control handles (the small squares at the end of the arrows—either one, and then press the left or right arrow key on your keyboard to proportionately increase or decrease the size of the fill.
The sky is a bit too dark, so here's what we can do. Clone the photo (Ctrl k). Select the Transparency Tool. Click once to select the photo then hold down the Ctrl key, click and drag upward to the top of the image. From the Transparency Type drop down list on the Infobar, select Bleach. This makes the bottom part of the image lighter and then fades to normal. Select all three rectangles. From the Arrange menu, select, Create Bitmap Copy... Change the Color Depth to True Color (not True Color + Alpha) and in the Bitmap Size tabbed section, change the dpi to 300. (Save the new bitmap and delete the other rectangles).
