Clone each of the 2 lines. Move each clone towards the center about 10 pixels. Select the inside lines and change the outline color as shown. Select each line with the Transparency Tool and set the Transparency slider to 90%. Select the Blend Tool (F7). Click on the left inside line and drag to the left outside line to create a blend. Change the number of Blend Steps on the Infobar to 25 and press Enter to apply the change. Press the Position Profile arrow icon to open the Position Profile dialog. From the drop down list of presets, select Profile 1. Repeat these steps to create a blend of the two right lines. Position these two blends over the glass as shown above right. This adds depth to the edge of the beer.
Select the shape shown above (this will be a shadow area under the beer foam). Change the fill color and apply a Linear transparency as shown.
Duplicate the bottom portion of the glass shape. Add an outline and set the fill to none. Create a 50 pixel square and center it over the bottom of the shape as a guide. With the shape selected, switch to the Shape Editor Tool (F4) and Break at Points where the outline meets the square. (Delete the square). Break the line at the area where the glass fill meets the beer fill. Change the outline color and outline Width as shown above. Clone each line segment and move the clones towards the center until the 2 lines meet. Change the transparency for the 2 inside lines to 80% Using the Blend Tool (F7) apply a blend to each pair of lines. Change the number of Blend Steps to 70 and press Enter to apply the change. Apply a Profile 2 preset Attribute profile to each blend. (The Attribute Profile is the second arrow icon and affects the color transition but not the spacing between the lines).
