Select the large ellipse with the Bevel Tool and drag any of the red arrow control handles towards the center a little bit. Drag the Light Angle arrow (shown in pale green) until it points in the opposite direction or select Light Angle from the drop down list on the Infobar and change the setting to 130 degrees. Dragging towards the center automatically creates an Inner Bevel. From the drop down list, select Size and change the size to 6pix. Flat is the default Bevel Type and so we do not need to select this option.
Clone (Ctrl k) the sky filled crescent shape. Select the clone with the Fill Tool and change the fill to Flat by selecting Flat from the Fill Type drop down list. Copy (Ctrl c ) the large rectangle again and once again Paste Attributes to the cloned crescent (Shift Ctrl a). Using the Bevel Tool, apply a Flat Inner Bevel using the settings and Light Angle indicated above.
