Let's get started. Using the Rectangle Tool, draw a rectangle 450 pixels wide by 350 pixels tall. Set the outline to none.
We will use a hexagon as a quick and easy guide to creating a cube. Select the QuickShapes Tool. From the Infobar, select 6 from the Sides drop down list. Make sure the star icon is not selected (it will be in the down position if it is selected) and the Create Polygons icon is selected. Hold down the Shift key, to constrain the drawing from the center, and the Ctrl key, to constrain the hexagon to equal proportions. With the Shift and Ctrl keys held down at the same time, click the screen with the QuickShapes Tool and drag down and right until the size shown on the Infobar is approximately 275pix. The size does not have to be exact. The size will appear on the Infobar as you draw.
