GP PopOut, the software we will be using to convert the Depth Image and repeating Colorfield panel into a Stereogram, works with two kinds of bitmaps, Windows 16 color BMP files and 24-bit TARGA TGA files. We will use the TARGA TGA format as it produces superior images. Select the black rectangle and cube and from the File menu, select Export. Browse in the Save In: window to find the folder into which you extracted GP PopOut. This is the folder GP PopOut looks in to find the files it needs and we can save a lot of steps if we export to this folder (or a sub folder in this directory such as Xara Stereogram). Name the image depth and press Export.
This opens the TARGA Export Bitmap Options dialog. All you have to do here is make sure 24 is checked in the Color Depth section. Press Export and the file is saved.
