Open the Color Depth dialog (Utilities > Bitmap Effects & Plug-ins > Bitmap Effects > Color Depth). Change the Color Depth to Grayscale. Press OK to apply the change. Create a 255 pixel diameter circle and center it over the sun face. Select both the circle and the sun face and Arrange > Combine Shapes... Intersect Shapes. |

Position the sun face over the image so that it aligns with the top center of the bitmap. Place the clone of the orange mountains that you set to one side earlier, and shown above in olive green, in front of the sun and aligned with the bottom center of the bitmap. Select the cloned orange mountains and the sun face image and Arrange > Combine Shapes... Subtract Shapes. The orange cloned mountains will disappear along with the section of the sun face directly underneath.
