Clone the circle containing the bitmap (Ctrl k). Select the Fill Tool and change the fill to Circular. Change the inside and outside colors as shown and move the center of the fill up and to the right.

Select the circle with the Transparency Tool and apply a Flat, Brightness, 20% transparency to add roundness to the bitmap.
