Import the image (File > Import) Sandia_Mountain.png (one of the two images you downloaded) into Xara X. With the image selected, open the Brightness & Contrast dialog (Utilities > Bitmap Effects and Plug-ins > Bitmap Effects > Brightness and Contrast). Move the Brightness slider one tick to the left. Move the Contrast and Colour sliders one tick to the right. This increases the color saturation and makes the image a little darker.
At the top of the dialog select Current Line Color from the drop down list. Change the line color to R 255, G 102, and B 0. TIP: You can use this technique with any imported bitmap or any bitmap you create in Xara X.

With the image selected, open the Color Editor (Ctrl e). Select
RGB Color Model from the Color Model drop down list. Change the fill color to R 102, G 51 and B 153 (as shown on the left).
