Stack the four O-shapes. You may need to bring one or more to the front (Ctrl f) or send one or more behind (Ctrl b). Clone the four rings (Ctrl k) and move the four clones up to the top as shown.
Create two more ellipses to the size shown and align the ellipses with the top and the bottom as shown. Draw a rectangle with the Rectangle Tool (M) that is the width of the ellipses and that passes through the vertical center of both ellipses. Select the rectangle and the two ellipses and press Ctrl 1 or Arrange > Combine Shapes > Add Shapes.
Made a duplicate of the new combined shape (Ctrl d). Select one of the shapes and open the Fill Gallery (Shift F11). In the Stone Fills folder, select Stone 13 and press Fill to apply the bitmap fill to the selected shape. Switch to the Fill Tool (F5). Adjust the fill path arrows until they are as shown above. TIP: Click either square at the end of the fill path arrows, and press the left or right arrow keys to increase or decrease the size of the fill. Hold down the Shift key when you press to increase the distance for each click. Repeat this last step and apply a Stone 10 fill to the other shape. Edit the size of the fill with the Fill Tool. Save your drawing and take a short break. After the break, we'll make those stones look old.
