Delete the groups shown here in blue.

Select the remaining groups and one-by-one ungroup the ellipses and delete all but the indicated ellipse or ellipses.

This step applies to the top 2 ellipses only.

Copy the very top ellipse to the Clipboard (Ctrl c).

Add a rectangle that passes through the vertical center of each ellipse.

Select the rectangle and the 2 ellipses and Arrange > Combine Shapes > Add Shapes (keyboard shortcut: Ctrl 1).

Paste the ellipse from the clipboard using Shift Ctrl v or Edit > Paste in Place (Xara Extreme only). Convert the ellipse to editable shapes.

With the pasted ellipse selected, select the Shape Editor Tool (F4) and drag the top of the ellipse upward into a slightly rounded shape.
