A Multi-page Website with Pop-up and Rollover Buttons

One of the most popular new features in Xtreme 4.0 and Xtreme Pro 4.0 is the ability to create sophisticated and professional looking multipage websites. Without ever having to leave Xtreme! The May 1 HTML Workbook has received more e-mail responses, and very enthusiastic responses at that, than any other Workbook or Tutorial I have done in the 12+ years I have been doing the Xara Xone. In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a simple multipage website, complete with pop-ups, those things that appear when you mouse over an image, and 3-state navigational buttons: normal, mouse over, and mouse down. While it would be very cool to create a button that has both a mouse over effect and that triggers pop-up, Xtreme can only do one or the other. Not both.

But limitations like this never stopped the clever user before. In fact, Xtreme can do both. You just have to say, no is not an acceptable answer.

This tutorial is an introduction to the process of creating a multipage website. I will leave the content and individual site designing to you.
