Using the Shape Editor Tool, create an arced line as seen above the handle. In the Line Gallery, select Round Cap from the drop down list of Line Caps. Change the line Width to 4pt. With the line selected, select the Freehand and Brush Tool. From the Select an Existing Stroke Shape drop down list, select the Dab stroke shape. Apply a pale orange outline color.
One final shape will complete the cup. Draw the shape shown above and apply a deep red-orange fill.
Create two shapes to represent the sunlight on the counter top. Apply a Fractal Plasma fill to the two shapes using the colors shown and adjust the fill path arrows as shown to create a mottled effect. Save your drawing and take a short break.
