Create a rectangle to the size shown and put it and the spiked shape to the back (Ctrl b). Copy the fill from the two shapes and Edit > Paste Attributes to the rectangle. Change the colors to the two darker colors.

Apply 2 pixels feathering to the spiked triangular shape. Apply Linear, Mix transparencies to the spiked triangular shape and the bottom right shape to soften the edges.

Add a deep red ellipse at the base of the cup. Press Shift Ctrl b several times to move the ellipse backwards until it is under the cup but on top of the surface.

Create a larger ellipse and apply a Fractal Plasma fill. Draw a line between the edges of the light and dark countertop that extends through and beyond the edges of the ellipse. Arrange > Combine Shapes... Slice Shapes. Delete the right bottom section. Apply 10 pixels feathering.
