Select the cup shape. Press Ctrl c to copy the shape to the clipboard. Select the inside cup shape (above the coffee) and from the Edit menu, select Paste Attributes (or Shift Ctrl a ). This copies the fill to the new shape. Move the center of the fill as shown above and resize the fill path arrows.
Using the Shape Editor Tool, draw two diagonal lines as shown in blue dashed line. Start and end the lines just a little bit beyond the orange shapes. Using the Shape Editor Tool, and with one of the lines selected, drag the line into a graceful curve as shown. Dragging the lines is like pulling a rubber band. You can pull it in any direction you want. Drag the bottom line from the right of center and pull down and to the right.
Create a Z-shape over the coffee shape and reshape the line as shown above. Save your drawing and take a short eye break.
