Make 2 clones of the capsule shape (Ctrl k). Move the top clone up and to the right about 10 pixels in each direction. Select both clones and Arrange > Combine Shapes > Subtract Shapes (Ctrl 2). Apply the blue fill as shown to the resulting J-shape. Select the original capsule shape and apply a 2 color Linear fill as shown above top right. Create a new, small rectangle 110 x 22 pixels. Apply Curved Corners by clicking the curved line icon next to the Width and Height drop down list on the Infobar. From the Editable Items drop down list, select Curvature and change the amount from 0.2 to 0.7. Place the rounded rectangle over the blue capsule shape and move it to the right and down as shown below right. Clone the capsule shape (Ctrl k).
Select the rounded rectangle and the capsule shape and Combine Shapes > Intersect Shapes (Ctrl 3). Apply a Flat, White fill. This creates a highlight. Select the white highlight shape with the Transparency Tool (F6). Click a short distance above the white highlight shape, hold down the Ctrl key (to constrain the direction), and drag down a short distance past the bottom of the white shape. Add the blue J-shape to the bottom and apply a Linear, Bleach transparency as shown. (Select Bleach from the Transparency Type drop down list). Group all of 3 objects (Arrange > Group or Ctrl g).
Select the 5-sided shape and rotate it 45 degrees so the flat end is on top. Apply a Linear fill using the colors shown. Clone the shape (Ctrl k). Create a vertical line with the Shape Editor Tool (F4) that extends over the top and bottom right 1/3 of the shape. TIP: To draw a vertical or horizontal line, click the Shape Editor Tool on the page to place the first control point. Hold down the Ctrl key, click again and drag in the direction you want the line to be drawn. Select the line and the cloned 5-sided shape and Arrange > Combine Shapes > Slice Shapes (Ctrl 4). Delete the left side of the shape. Apply a Flat white fill to the right side and then apply 4 pixels of feathering. Apply a Linear, Mix transparency dragging from the right to the left. Group these 2 shapes (Ctrl g or Arrange > Group).
