Apply a horizontal Linear fill to the soap bar shape using the colors and positions shown above. (Select the shape with the Fill Tool, then select Linear from the drop down list of Fill Types on the Infobar). Hold down the Ctrl key and drag the fill path arrow control handles (the small boxes at either end of the arrow) so the arrow covers the entire shape. To add additional colors, double click on the fill path with the Fill Tool . You can drag the new colors to change their location or you can nudge them by selecting a color, then pressing the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard.
Select the Linear-filled object with the Selector Tool (the arrow pointer) and copy the fill to the clipboard (Ctrl c or Edit > Copy). Now select the rounded rectangle on the top and Paste Attributes (Edit > Paste Attributes or Shift Ctrl a) Select the Blend Tool. Click on the soap bar shape, and without releasing the left mouse button, drag until the cursor is over the top rounded rectangle. Release the mouse button to create the blend. Change the number of Blend Steps on the Infobar from 5 to 25 and press Enter to apply the change. Click the Position Profile arrow on the Infobar to open the Position Profile dialog, and select Profile 1 from the drop down list.
Select the Bevel Tool. Click the Xara X text to select it. Drag any of the red control handle arrows away from the text a little bit to apply an Outer Bevel. Select Rounded 2 from the drop down list of Bevel Types. From the drop down list of Slider Types, select Size. Change the size to 3pix.
