Clone the beveled text (Ctrl k). Change the Bevel Type to Rounded and press the Inner Bevel icon (the four in-facing arrows). From the Slider Type drop down list, select Size and change the size to 3pix. Select Light Elevation and change the setting to 30 degrees. Finally, select Light Angle and change the setting to 135 degrees. Move the cloned beveled text up and to the right about 2 pixels in each direction.
Select the blended top of the bar of soap and duplicate it (Ctrl d). Select the duplicated blend with the Blend Tool and press Remove on the Infobar to remove the blend. Delete the larger rounded rectangle. Clone the smaller rounded rectangle (Ctrl k) and move it upward about 6 pixels. Select both rounded rectangles and Arrange > Combine Shapes... Subtract Shapes. This leaves a J-shaped object as shown above. With the J-shaped object selected, select the Shape Editor Tool. Select and delete the two outer, inside control points (shown as red-outlined squares). This creates a shape with pointed ends as shown above bottom. Place the shape over the top portion of the bar of soap so that the shape aligns with the top shape in the blend (the smaller rounded rectangle). Change the fill color to the pale pink shown. Select the shape with the Transparency Tool. From the drop down list of Transparency Shapes on the Infobar, select Circular. Drag the center of the fill path arrow over the corner of the J-shape as shown. This creates a soft highlight and defines the top edge of the soap.
We need to modify the Linear fill to provide more separation for the side of the bar of soap. Change the four colors to those shown above. Save your work and take a short break.
