Now we will create the tile. Select the group of rounded squares with the Fill Tool. From the drop down list of Fill Types, select Fractal Plasma. Hold down the Ctrl key and drag the ends of the fill path arrows until the lengths are similar to those shown above. Change the colors to white and pale pink as shown above. Add a rectangle behind the squares and apply a light gray fill.

Select the group with the Bevel Tool. Apply a Rounded 2, Inner Bevel, with a 6pix width. Reduce the Light Elevation slider setting to 30 degrees.

Select the gray rectangle. Open the Fill Gallery (top right area of the Infobar). From the Stone Fills folder, select Stone 8 and press the Fill button to apply the fill. Select the Fill Tool and modify the fill path arrows as shown so the stone fill looks like the grout used between the tiles.

To add fills to the Fill Gallery New users may not have any fills in their Fill Gallery. To add fills, place the Xara X CD in your CD drive. Press the Fill Gallery icon to open the Fill Gallery and press Disc Fills... Xara will attempt to locate your CD drive. (If Xara cannot find it, Browse to locate the drive). Locate the Fills folder and double click on its icon. Press Add. Xara will ask if you would like to create an Index for the fills. Press OK. Xara will add folders and thumbnail images for all the fills on the CD. The actual fills remain on the disc so to apply a fill, the Xara X CD needs to be in your CD drive.
