Select the tiles with the Shadow Tool and press the Wall Shadow icon to add a wall shadow. Modify the X and Y Shadow offset amounts to 2pix and –2pix as shown above right.
Make two duplicates of the large bar shape. Position the top duplicate just a little above where the top of the shape is rounded as shown above. Select both and Arrange > Combine Shapes... Subtract Shapes . The top shape disappears (indicated by the blue dashed outline).
Position the soap over the tiles as shown and position the shape we just created directly below the soap. Select the new shape with the Transparency Tool. Drag the Transparency Tool cursor downwards while holding down the Ctrl key, to apply a vertical Linear transparency. Change the Transparency Type to Stained Glass. Click the top control point with the Transparency Tool and change the starting Transparency Slider setting to 50%. Select the bottom control point and change the setting to 90%. This adds a subtle reflection of the soap onto the tiles.
